Thea Urdal is a journalist and designer interested in more-than-human design, curiosity, speculative fiction, and the importance of semantics. Urdal straddles the boundaries of graphic design, textile design, service design and interaction design.
She has a BA in Product Design and Textiles, an MA in Graphic Design and Illustration from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts combined with an educational stint at Parsons New School of Design, New York.

Erica Isa Mosca
Architect and Postdoctoral Researcher at Politecnico di Milano, Italy
Erica has a PhD in Architecture, Built environment and Construction engineering at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) with PhD research on Universal Design building performance assessment in healthcare environments.
She is a postdoctoral researcher at ‘Design & Health Lab’ research group of Politecnico di Milano as Inclusive and Universal Design expert. Visiting researcher at the Center for Inclusive Design and Environmental Access - IDeA Center, University at Buffalo (NY).
Lecturer and teaching assistant in BsC, MsC course at Politecnico di Milano and professional courses. Speaker at national and international conferences and author of scientific publications on Design for All and accessibility. Co-founder of INCLUD platform project awarded with prizes as Switch2Product Innovation Challenge 2021 with a Grant from AstraZeneca. Consultant of accessibility and Inclusive Design for public procurements and design competitions. Since 2019 she is board member of ‘Design for All Italia’ association.

Meet Tobias Vatle Faksvåg a student who has spent his time contributing to the field of entrepreneurship and startup development at Kristiania University College.
As the head of community at Loftet, Tobias has worked voluntarily for almost two years to build a thriving community of entrepreneurs, providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed. His passion and dedication to his work have been to helping startups get off the ground and thrive.
In his role, he has managed almost 40 different startups. In addition to his work with startups, Tobias and his team have also run 2 successful incubator programs, providing invaluable mentorship and support to a wide range of entrepreneurs. Loftet´s commitment to helping others succeed is truly inspiring, and the impact on the startup community has been profound.

Curiosity has led Barbara on paths otherwise she wouldn´t consider, and one of those areas has been knowledge acquisition.
Her PhD on employee innovative behaviour in public sector services has taught her the importance of inclusion in an organization in driving innovative thinking, where diversity is key in offering various perspectives and solutions that drive organizations forward as well as functioning as an (underrated) competitive advantage through people.

Bernard Chiira
Director-Innovate Now & Kenya Representative-GDI Hub
Bernard Chiira is a startup and innovation ecosystem development expert and professional, working at the intersection of disability inclusion, assistive technology and social entrepreneurship. He is a thought leader and masterclass facilitator across diverse topics within his profession such as disability and business, assistive technology innovation, inclusive impact investing, inclusive innovation ecosystems, among others.
Over the last 9 years, Bernard has led some of the most successful incubators and accelerators in Africa. From 2014 to 2019, he led Strathmore University’s business incubator-@iBizAfrica to award-winning status while impacting 300+ Startups. He co-founded and was the first chairman for the Association of Startup and SME Enablers of Kenya (ASSEK) and served on the board of Afrilabs-Africa’s largest network of Innovation Hubs. After pushing boundaries in the mainstream tech and startup ecosystem, helping hundreds of startups navigate from idea to market, Bernard found a calling in disability innovation. In 2019 together with the Global Disability Innovation Hub, 9, he co-founded Innovate Now.-Africa’s first assistive technology accelerator.
